I’m always intrigued to explore new culinary experiences and date activities. If you’d like to indulge me in some of my local favorites (and a few I’ve yet to try), read on!

Food

Bakery Nouveau - Little bakery with very good treats. Try the twice baked chocolate croissant.

Rocket Taco - Casual. Sometimes you just need emergency tacos.

Monsoon - Great Vietnamese food. I love their veggie offerings.

Communion - Best okra I’ve ever had. Try the po’ mi: a mash up of a bánh mì and po’ boy.

Café Pettirosso - Great food in a cool part of Cap Hill. I'm not vegan but I love the vegan mac and cheese.

Spinasse - I fantasize frequently about their butter sage pasta.

Bar Cantinetta - Excellent Tuscan dishes in a sweet little space.

Lark - Great food. Cap Hill neighborhood.

Palisade - Restaurant with an indoor pond. Very cool.

Sushi Kashiba - Best fish I’ve ever eaten in my life. The toro is phenomenal. The service sets the bar.

Harvest Beat - Garden-to-table, fancy vegan food but guaranteed to make an omnivore's jaw drop, too.

Café Juanita - Worth the drive to Kirkland. The tasting menu always knocks it out of the park.

Art of the Table - Never been but it’s on my bucket list.

Herbfarm - Never been but it’s on my bucket list. Up in Woodinville.

Experiences

Volunteer Park Conservatory - Remarkably gorgeous gardens. An absolute city gem.

Elliot Bay Books - When in doubt, books!

Museum of Museums - Haven't been yet but want to go. Weird art is my jam.

iFly indoor skydiving - Need a hit of adrenaline? I have just the thing for you.

Can Can - Excellent dinner and very sexy burlesque show.

Seattle Erotic Art Festival - Annual art event that is always a blast.

Central Cinema - Dinner and a movie. Good food and fun film curation.

The Triple Door - Dinner and a sexy show in a comfy theater. Very fun.

Agua Verde Paddle Club - Get tacos at the café, then rent a kayak.

Hot Tub Boats - What's better than seeing the city from the water? Seeing the city from the water in a hot tub.

Salish Lodge - Nice hotel with good soaking tubs right by a gorgeous waterfall.

I would love to show you my favorite parts
of Seattle…
